Privacy

Short, specific, and about this website rather than about privacy in general. If something here is unclear, ask us — the answer is not a secret.

Draft — awaiting legal review (unverified placeholder) This text describes what the site actually does, but it has not been reviewed by a qualified lawyer.

What this page covers

This describes what happens to information you send us through this website. It does not cover information you give us during a project — that is governed by the agreement we sign with you.

What the contact form collects

Five things, because that is all the form has: your name, your company email address, which service you are asking about, a description of what you are building, and optionally one PDF attachment.

We do not ask for a phone number, a company size, a budget range, or anything else a sales system would want. If we need those, we will ask you in a conversation.

What happens to an attachment

Attachments are restricted to PDF. We do not accept native design source through this form, because inviting you to send a schematic into general storage would contradict the confidentiality commitments we make elsewhere on this site.

An uploaded file is stored in a private object store under a prefix belonging to your submission alone. It is never publicly addressable. Access is through a signed link that expires shortly after it is generated, created on demand when someone here opens your enquiry.

Who sees it

Enquiries are visible to the people at this company who handle new business and the engineers they consult about your specific question. They are not shared with anyone else, sold, or used to build a marketing list.

A notification is sent by email to an address we control when your enquiry arrives. That email carries an expiring link to the attachment, never the file itself, so a forwarded message does not hand your document to whoever receives it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and attachments are retained while there is a live conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. If you ask us to delete your enquiry and any attachment, we will, and we will confirm when it is done.

Analytics and cookies

This site sets no cookies. We use a privacy-preserving analytics service that stores no personal data and does not track you across sites, which is why there is no consent banner asking you to accept anything.

We do not run advertising or retargeting, and there are no third-party trackers on this site.

Fonts and third-party requests

Typefaces are served from this site’s own servers rather than a third-party font host, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you visited.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us and we will action it. We will not require you to explain why.
